BOWIE, Md. (AP) - A man convicted of setting off homemade bottle bombs at six movie theaters was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

The Capital Gazette (https://bit.ly/1AznrjL ) reports 21-year-old Manuel Joyner-Bell received the sentence Friday in Prince George’s County after pleading guilty in December to setting off the bombs in Maryland and Virginia movie theaters in 2014.

Joyner-Bell may face additional time. Prosecutors say he will be extradited to Virginia to face similar charges.

Joyner-Bell’s co-defendant, Michael Hollingsworth, will be sentenced on June 30. A spokeswoman for the Prince George’s State Attorney says last month, Hollingsworth pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to manufacture a destructive device.
