INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Police say an 18-year-old died after being shot on the far east side of Indianapolis.
City police says officers were called to the scene of the shooting about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. The department says officers found a male victim with gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead by medics a short time later in a neighborhood near Interstate 70 and Post Road.
Police identified the victim as Darrius Taylor of Indianapolis.
According to police, the shooting doesn’t appear to be a random act. No suspects or motive have been determined, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
