EAST LYNN, W.Va. (AP) - The recreation season is getting underway at East Lynn Lake.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says the Overlook day use areas above the dam are open. The Lick Creek day use area and the East Fork boat launch are scheduled to reopen this week.
Campground areas 1, 2, 3 and 4 will open on May 15. Campground areas 5 and 6 remain closed because of a road slip caused by high water in March.
The Below Dam day use area is open year-round.
