MIAMI, Fla. (AP) - A woman has died and another is in critical condition after being pulled out of choppy water off Miami Beach.
The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/1JjMlJc) reports Ocean Rescue pulled two female tourists from New York out of the water Sunday evening. Both were in cardiac arrest. One woman died at the scene and another was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center where she is in critical condition.
A Miami Beach police spokesman told the newspaper it was not clear what caused the swimmers to go under, but the water was rough all day.
