RICHFORD, Vt. (AP) - A woman has been accused of stabbing her former boyfriend near a laundromat in Richford, Vermont.
Police say 20-year-old Caitlyn Fregeau of Bakersfield is accused of attempted manslaughter in the stabbing of 19-year-old Trevor Sweet of Richford early Sunday.
Fregeau’s current boyfriend, 21-year-old Tanner Hart of Essex Junction, has been accused of being an accessory after the fact and careless and negligent driving.
Both were scheduled to appear in court Monday. It wasn’t immediately known if they had lawyers. Fregeau’s bail was set at $150,000 and Hart’s bail was set at $75,000.
Sweet is in stable condition at a hospital.
