DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - Police in Dearborn are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman by her estranged husband who then shot and killed himself.
Authorities say Monday that the shootings occurred about 11 a.m. Sunday in the community just west of Detroit.
A witness told investigators that the 29-year-old woman went to the man’s home to exchange children. Her 40-year-old husband got in her parked car where they spoke briefly before she was shot.
He then turned the gun on himself.
The names of the man and woman have not been released.
