Woman killed when truck crashes into her living room

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A Pensacola woman is dead after a truck crashed into her living room.

Pensacola police say 52-year-old Donna Sue Alexander was sitting in her house Sunday evening when a Toyota Tacoma driven by 30-year-old John Dye crashed into her house.

Alexander died at the scene. Dye was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Police say the truck veered off the road and struck the house.

Officer Danny Lawrence told the Pensacola News Journal (https://on.pnj.com/1I9ISj6 ) the cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending the outcome.
