RENO, Nev. (AP) - A $2,500 reward has been posted in Reno for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a suspect or suspects in the killing of homeless man whose body was found near the Truckee River a few blocks from the downtown casino district.
Secret Witness announced the reward on Tuesday as Reno police continued a homicide investigation after the 50-year-old victim was found over the weekend lying face down with blood around his face.
Police say the man, whose name was not released, was discovered about 7 a.m. Saturday along the riverside bike path near Lake Street.
