HANOVER, N.H. (AP) - Three Dartmouth College alumni and their families have made gifts totaling $5 million to create three head coaching positions, in men’s soccer and Nordic skiing, and in women’s tennis.
One of the three alumni has chosen to remain anonymous. The soccer positon was established by Gregg Lemkau and his wife, Kate, and the tennis position was created by Russell Boss and his wife, Marjorie.
Athletics Director Harry Sheehy says the endowed coaching positions make Dartmouth more competitive with its peers.
