EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a live explosive device was found in Lynnwood on Monday morning.

The Everett Daily Herald reports (https://is.gd/0UFGf0 ) that a bomb squad was called after a device was found in an apartment complex around 11:30 a.m. The explosive was dismantled before 3 p.m.

Cmdr. Jim Nelson of the Lynnwood Police Department says the device had a fuse and had the appearance of dynamite. It was left in the garage by a former tenant of the 30-unit complex.
