CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 4-year-old boy is in the hospital after being shot once in the head in a suburban Detroit park.

The boy was shot about 9 p.m. Monday in Normandy Park in the Macomb County community of Clinton Township. He was taken first to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens and then transferred to Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.

Police have no suspects or weapon. The boy’s condition wasn’t known early Tuesday.
