ATLANTA (AP) - Police are searching for two men they say shot a truck driver and then stole his semitrailer loaded with furniture near a rail yard in Atlanta.

Authorities say the trucker was hijacked early Tuesday morning on the city’s northwest side.

Investigators say the truck driver was leaving the Norfolk Southern train yard when he was held up by two men, then shot in the head.

Atlanta police Capt. Terrell Griffin said the trucker suffered a “graze wound” to his head and was in stable condition at Grady Memorial Hospital.

WSB Radio reports (https://bit.ly/1ABCR79) that police found the cab of the J.B. Hunt Transport truck east of the city in DeKalb County, but were still searching for the trailer.
