SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A police officer in South Burlington, Vermont, is donating a personally made memorial to the National Law Enforcement Officer Museum containing the names of officers in the state who have died in the line of duty.

Officer Brianne Williamson is making a presentation of the handcrafted cross-stitch framed plaque Tuesday afternoon at the police department.

This year, National Police week will honor 117 law enforcement officers who died in 2014.
