LOWELL, Mass. (AP) - Police and prosecutors are investigating the death of a 6-week old girl in Lowell.
A spokeswoman for the Middlesex district attorney’s office tells The Sun (https://bit.ly/1Qi6tQ7 ) that police responding to a 911 call went to a Pawtucket Boulevard address on Sunday morning to find the baby unresponsive.
The baby was taken to Lowell General Hospital and pronounced dead.
An autopsy has been performed to determine the cause and manner of death. The district attorney is awaiting those results.
Authorities would not say whether the death was suspicious.
