HAMPSTEAD, Md. (AP) - A Hampstead man is scheduled to be sentenced in July after pleading guilty to child pornography charges in federal court.
The Carroll County Times (https://bit.ly/1dJSrsv ) reports 42-year-old Michael Eugene Aldridge was convicted of distributing and possessing child pornography Monday. A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s office in Baltimore says Aldridge covertly took videos of underage female victims, including while they were undressing.
The release says in June 2014, Aldridge’s home was searched and he admitted to viewing and distributing child pornography and a search of his email account and cell phone found child pornography images.
Aldridge faces a mandatory five-year minimum sentence and up to 20 years for distribution of child pornography. He also faces up to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography.
