LEWES, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck in Lewes.

It happened about 6:30 p.m. Monday on Mulberry Knoll Road. Troopers say 49-year-old Brian Donohue of Ocean View was driving a pickup truck at the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and failed to stay stopped at a stop sign.

Police say a motorcycle operated by 48-year-old Bryan Angle of Pocopson, Pennsylvania, hit the left side of the truck.

Authorities say Angle, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle onto the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Donohue was not hurt. The crash is under investigation.
