ATLANTA (AP) - The Fulton County District Attorney, local community leaders and other are planning a program to help students who were impacted by the Atlanta Public Schools test cheating scandal.
District Attorney Paul Howard tells WABE-FM (https://bit.ly/1GXioyv ) a group including King Center CEO Bernice King is expected to meet Tuesday to discuss ways community leaders can help students who were impacted.
Howard says the program, titled Atlanta Redemption Academy, will focus on identifying and evaluating students who were affected by the scandal and providing tutoring, vocational training and help with finding jobs.
