BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A former ambulance squad office manager has agreed to plead guilty to taking over $250,000 from the nonprofit organization and using it for personal expenses.
Amy Fletcher worked for Derby Line Ambulance from 2009 to 2012. She was accused of diverting funds to pay for personal credit cards and home and car loans. She also was accused of filing a false tax return in 2011.
A plea agreement for Fletcher has been filed by the U.S. Attorney’s office. A hearing hasn’t been scheduled yet.
