ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - An early-morning shooting not far from New York’s state capitol has left one man dead and two others injured.

Police were called to an intersection about five blocks from the state capitol building shortly after midnight and found the three victims there.

Police say one man has been confirmed dead and the other two were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital in critical condition with unknown injuries.

There’s no word yet if a suspect is in custody.

It’s the second deadly shooting in the city in less than a week. A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in a park last Wednesday, and two others were injured in that shooting as well.
