MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Gov. Scott Walker is slated to speak at the Wisconsin Republican Party convention later this month, while Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine will keynote the state Democratic Party meeting next month.
Walker is among a long list of speakers scheduled to talk Saturday May 16 at the Republican convention in La Crosse. Others slated to speak include Attorney General Brad Schimel, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan.
Walker, a likely presidential candidate, is scheduled to be in Iowa the night of May 16.
Kaine is scheduled to talk June 5 at the Democratic convention in Milwaukee. Democrats will also be electing a new state party chairman at its convention that weekend.
