EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a bicyclist who died in a collision with a Lane County deputy in Eugene Thursday night has been identified.

The Register-Guard reports (https://goo.gl/wVeMEZ ) 54-year-old Kimberly K. Wyatt of Eugene was riding north on State Highway 99 when she was struck by a Lane County sheriff’s deputy driving a Ford truck.

Oregon State Police have identified the deputy as Ed Lagrone.



Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say she was wearing dark clothing and had no rear light on the bicycle.

Oregon State Police continue to investigate along with the Eugene Police Department and Oregon Department of Transportation.
