CAMPBELL, Calif. (AP) - Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three suspects in a stolen car that crashed into a fire hydrant south of San Francisco.

KNTV reports (https://bit.ly/1PM2nSV ) Tuesday that Lt. Mike Powers says that a deputy began tracking a stolen black Acura about 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Powers says the suspects, two young men and a woman, apparently panicked and sped away, the station reports.

After giving deputies a chase, the driver of the Acura lost control and hit a fire hydrant in a Campbell front yard.

No one was seriously injured.

All three ran away. One man was arrested right away. Another man and a woman were found hiding nearby backyards. Their names and ages were not released.
