PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A western Massachusetts man has been found guilty of charges he sexually assaulted a teenage girl over a period of more than two years.
The Berkshire Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1NN1lA7 ) 54-year-old George Shurtleff was found guilty Monday of one count of rape and abuse of a child aggravated by age difference and multiple counts of indecent assault and battery.
Prosecutors say the Adams man started abusing the girl in February 2011 when she was 13 years old and continued until November 2013.
Shurtleff was ordered held without bail pending his sentencing hearing on Nov. 30.
