LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a 52-year-old Las Vegas-area substitute school bus driver faces felony charges following his arrest on child sex, child abuse and lewdness charges.

Police reported Tuesday that Ramiro Garcia was arrested Saturday, and court records showed that Garcia was released from jail on bond pending a court appearance Feb. 8.

The name of Garcia’s lawyer wasn’t listed in court records.

A Clark County School District spokeswoman said Garcia was suspended with pay pending a resolution of the case. He drove routes since 2011 in the northeast part of Las Vegas.

Garcia is the second Las Vegas school bus driver in six months accused of sexually assaulting children.

Michael Ray Banco was arrested in May and has pleaded not guilty to 41 felony charges. He’s due for trial in May.
