MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) - A woman was cited for careless driving after her pickup truck crashed into a northern New Jersey home, injuring an adult passenger and an infant.

Morristown police say the single-vehicle crash occurred around 11 a.m. Wednesday on Ford Avenue. It wasn’t immediately known if anyone was in the home at the time.

Police say the truck veered off the roadway, went through a wooden fence and crashed into the side of the home. The house was damaged in the accident, but inspectors determined it was still structurally sound.

An 18-year-old woman and a 10-month-old girl were taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver and another adult passenger were not injured.

It’s not yet known what caused the driver to lose control of the pickup.
