CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) - A man has been arrested on suspicion of starting a fire in Cedar Falls that damaged three vehicles and a shed.
Cedar Falls police say 30-year-old Nicholas Matthew Kollasch was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief. Court records do not list an attorney.
Police say fire officials responded early Thursday to a report of a vehicle on fire. Authorities found three vehicles and a nearby shed on fire.
All three vehicles were completely destroyed and authorities considered the fire suspicious. Kollasch, of Cedar Falls, was arrested a short time later.
