WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - A Waterloo woman has been accused of robbing a cellphone store with a knife.
Waterloo police say 41-year-old Cheryl Lynn Wanchanic was arrested early Thursday. She faces a first-degree robbery charge.
Online records show Wanchanic is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond at the Black Hawk County Jail. It’s unclear whether Wanchanic has an attorney who could be contacted to comment on her behalf.
Authorities say a woman entered an iWireless store Wednesday night and threatened an employee with a knife. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1YyabsY ) the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
