ATLANTA (AP) - Family members of a woman fatally shot while driving say the mother of two was not the intended target.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1M59L4U ) that family members gathered Thursday to grieve after the death of 25-year-old Tiara Bogan Jones. She was killed Saturday when shots were fired from another vehicle at the SUV, which hit a tree and flipped over.

About 75 also attended a candlelight vigil later in the evening at the site where Jones died near Turner Field.

Jones’ family says she finished work earlier than usual.

Police say Jones was found at the scene and shot in the face. Police say two other occupants of the SUV were not shot. One suffered a broken ankle and the other one had some injuries.

No arrests have been made.
