CORDELL, Okla. (AP) - A 36-year-old man has been found guilty in the death of a woman who disappeared in Cordell in 2007 and has not been seen since.

The Oklahoman (https://bit.ly/1N31tAg ) reports Ronnie Dean Denny Jr. of Princeton, Texas, was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder.

Authorities say 27-year-old Melissa Sue Flores disappeared Jan. 27, 2007. Prosecutors say Flores was Denny’s former girlfriend and that her car, cellphone and purse were found at Denny’s Cordell home, but her body has never been located.

Denny was arrested at his home in Texas in June 2014 and extradited to Oklahoma to face the charge in Washita County District Court.
