CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (AP) - Authorities have identified a woman whose body was found dangling from a chain-link fence in a southern Ohio city.

Law enforcement officials in Chillicothe (chihl-ih-KAHTH’-ee) said Wednesday that 31-year-old Rebecca Cade was apparently in a fight, ran from her attacker, got into a lot surrounded by a fence, then got stuck on the fence trying to get out.

Cade’s body was found Tuesday. Police say her death isn’t related to a string of suspicious deaths and disappearances of local women.

Ross County Prosecutor Matt Schmidt says a bloody rock recovered by investigators was apparently used in the attack.

Earlier Wednesday a judge ordered 27-year-old Donnie Cochenour (KOHK’-kah-now-ur) Jr. held on $2 million bond after he pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder in Cade’s death.
