EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a 5-year-old New Jersey boy who was accidentally run over by his father has died from his injuries.
The death was announced Wednesday, one day after the accident happened occurred in Egg Harbor Township, near Atlantic City.
Police say 35-year-old Thomas Kinzer was pulling a trailer with his pickup truck from the back of his property while his son was riding a toy tractor in the front. Police say Kinzer did not see his son and ran over him.
The boy was flown by helicopter to a hospital, where he later died.
