BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A 25-year-old man has been arrested in Detroit in the fatal shooting of a Blytheville man in a city park.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1LlFJKn ) reports the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Anfernee Wells Tuesday in a Detroit home. He has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 23-year-old Vincent Stone. It was not immediately clear if Wells has an attorney.
Authorities say Stone was killed as he walked to his car after playing basketball at Williams Park on June 22. He was taken to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where he later died.
Twenty-three-year-old Daniel Johnson of Blytheville was arrested in August and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the case.
