ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta police say a female driver was rear-ended and then had her car stolen by one of the passengers in the vehicle that had crashed into her.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/1VTyJPb) reports that six arrests have been made in connection with the theft, which police say occurred Sunday near Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood.
Authorities say the unidentified victim was hit from behind by a vehicle with four men inside. After the victim got out of her car to speak to the driver, one of the passengers entered the victim’s SUV and both vehicles drove away.
The victim says her purse, iPhone and iPad were inside the car, which has not been recovered.
It was unclear how all six suspects were tied to the incident.
