MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Bond has been reduced for a Las Vegas woman accused of bringing a 14-year-old girl to North Dakota for prostitution.

Twenty-year-old Tayari Meadows was arrested in a sting operation at a Minot hotel in April but told investigators she thought she was rescuing the girl from her mother. The girl’s mother contacted police in Minot and told them she had seen prostitution messages that included her daughter on a website.

KXMC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1joE8g7) that bond was trimmed from $500,000 to $100,000.

Meadows is scheduled back in court on Nov. 3 to argue for suppressing some of the evidence collected in the case.
