MARYSVILLE, Wash. (AP) - Police say a 64-year-old man was arrested for allegedly shooting his son in Marysville.

Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call Friday night from the alleged gunman’s wife, who said her husband was trying to shoot her as she fled.

When deputies arrived, they found the man’s 30-year-old son with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to a hospital. His condition was not known.

Authorities say the father was booked on suspicion of domestic violence assault with a weapon.
