Florida couple found shot to death in home

TAVERNIER, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a couple was found shot to death inside their home in the Florida Keys.

Monroe County Sheriff’s officials said a neighbor found the couple’s children, ages 3, 4 and 8-years-old, outside their home on Friday. The neighbor said the children reported their parents were dead inside the home.

The neighbor found the bodies of Tara Rosado, 26, and Carlos Ortiz, 30, inside the home and called authorities. Officials said they died from gunshot wounds sometime Thursday night.

No other details were released.
