CINCINNATI (AP) - An infant whose grandmother was arrested on a child endangering charge after the two were found unresponsive in a bathtub has died.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (https://cin.ci/1XaT7Zk) that a spokesman for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said the unidentified child died Friday at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The boy had been identified earlier as 4-month-old Killian Huff.

Sheriff’s deputies said in court documents that 42-year-old Kathy Huff and the baby were found Oct. 3 at her Hamilton County home. Authorities said both were unresponsive. Kathy Huff was arrested after being treated at the hospital.

She told deputies that she had used heroin before babysitting the child.
