INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Police in Indianapolis are investigating the death of a 15-year-old boy who was found shot to death in the doorway of an apartment building.
The Indianapolis Star (https://indy.st/1OCckBM ) reports that teen was found in the doorway of the Kingsford Drive apartment at about noon on Saturday and pronounced dead a short time later at the scene. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police spokesman Lieutenant Rick Riddle says that there had been no reports of shots fired or suspicious activity before police received the report that the teen had been discovered in the doorway.
Marion County Deputy Coroner Alfie Ballew sways the death is suspected to be a homicide. The office has not released the name of the teen.
