Medal of Honor winner Dakota Meyer issued his own warning to Islamic State militants after hearing the group had released new threats to the U.S. saying they had trained militants in 15 states: “we have trained soldiers in all 50 states.”

In a video posted to Mr. Meyer’s Facebook page, he taunts any extremists foolish enough to try to kill Americans on U.S. soil.

“Well I have a warning to you ISIS, we have trained soldiers in all 50 states that are ‘trained,’ they’re armed,” Mr. Meyer said, using an acronym for the Islamic State. “We have also disgruntled veterans in all 50 states that are armed and trained.”

He added that U.S. soldiers have been “kicking your ass for the last 14 years on your own turf and have been waiting for the opportunity for you to come over and try to bring your beliefs to the greatest country on the face of the earth.”

So far the video has been viewed over 925,000 times and has gained over 21,000 likes.

Mr. Meyer, 27, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Ganjgal in Afghanistan on Sept. 8, 2009. He is the second-youngest living Medal of Honor recipient.
