GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police have arrested a woman in the fatal stabbing of a Greensboro woman.

The News & Record of Greensboro reports (https://bit.ly/1PTnjnD) 20-year-old Jayda Lyn Gardner is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Deanndrous Chantill Johnson.

Police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said Johnson was stabbed in her apartment on Wednesday and died at a local hospital. Authorities said Gardner, who had been staying at Johnson’s apartment, is accused of getting into an argument with Johnson and then stabbing her.

Police said Gardner was arrested in Salisbury on Friday. Online records don’t indicate whether Gardner has an attorney.
