LAUREL, Del. (AP) - Police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a Sussex County nightclub that left a woman injured after she was shot in the face.
Authorities say several shots were fired early Sunday morning outside Legends Bar, Grill and Lounge in Laurel while a fight was taking place.
Laurel police spokesman Christopher Story says an unidentified 25-year-old Millsboro woman was hospitalized after being shot once in the face while walking across the parking lot. Her condition and details of her injury were not disclosed.
Story says three people were arrested and more are sought, but no one has been charged specifically with shooting the woman.
