CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio (AP) - A jury has convicted a Toledo man in the 2014 stabbing death of a northeast Ohio woman.
Jeffrey Conrad was charged with aggravated murder in the death of 40-year-old Amanda Russell, of Cuyahoga Falls.
Prosecutors said the two were in a relationship. They said Conrad attacked Russell at her home in August 2014 and stabbed her more than 50 times.
Conrad was found guilty Monday of felonious assault, violating a protection order, domestic violence and tampering with evidence. He waived his right to have an attorney and his right to be present during the three-day trial.
