BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A judge has granted a defense attorney’s request to withdraw from representing a woman charged with the aggravated assault of a Vermont State Police detective who investigated a fatal stabbing in her home.
The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1Lz5F7u ) a Windham Superior Court judge granted Daniel Sedon’s motion to withdraw from representing 45-year-old Christina Allcock, of Westminster, after she posted recordings of their confidential conversations on YouTube.
Allcock is charged with the aggravated assault of State Police Lt. Kraig LaPorte, who was investigating the stabbing death of 37-year-old Michael Johnson at her trailer.
Allcock says she wants a new attorney, claiming Sedon had a conflict of interest. He said he represented a police officer in an unrelated criminal matter.
