PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) - State police are seeking the public’s help in solving a double theft in northern New York involving a box truck and several all-terrain vehicles and motorcycles.
Troopers say a white 1991 International box truck was stolen early Sunday from Pray’s Market in the town of Plattsburgh. Police say the 22-foot truck has the words Pray’s Farmers Market written on both sides of the box.
Troopers believe the truck was then used the same morning to steal three ATVs and two motorcycles from Lake City Choppers in Plattsburgh. A set of loading ramps was also taken.
Troopers are asking anyone with information regarding the thefts to contact them at the state police barracks in Plattsburgh at 518-563-3761.
