BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A judge has set a $1 million bond for a man charged in the fatal shooting of a Blytheville man.

Daniel Johnson was arraigned Wednesday in Blytheville District Court, where a judge found probable cause to charge him with first-degree murder in the June slaying of 23-year-old Vincent Stone.

Authorities say Stone was walking to his vehicle after playing a game of basketball when he was shot by two men. He later died at a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. A second suspect charged in the shooting remains at large.

A police report says Johnson has denied any involvement in the shooting. The Blytheville Courier News (https://bit.ly/1KSf78Y ) reports that Johnson is next due in Mississippi County Circuit Court on Oct. 27.
