GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A Greenville woman faces more charges of scamming people seeking college football tickets.

Multiple media outlets reported that prosecutor Sylvian Harrison said Tuesday that Melissa Grey faces three more computer crime charges.

Harrison says authorities have learned of more than 80 victims who were cheated out of more than $40,000. Harrison says Grey committed one of the crimes as recently as last week. Grey had been charged last year with a second-degree computer crime

Grey’s attorney asked to be removed from the case Tuesday. Harrison says Joe Armstrong had been working hard on Grey’s behalf but she was not following his advice. Grey’s case is being assigned to a public defender.

Harrison said Grey has returned money to some of the people who had purchased tickets online.
