SACO, Maine (AP) - A spokesman for the Maine attorney general says a man indicted for fatally stabbing a woman in a Maine supermarket will most likely be arraigned in October.

Police arrested Saco resident Connor MacCalister in August and charged him with killing Wendy Boudreau at a Shaw’s supermarket. Court records show a grand jury indicted him on Sept. 10.

A spokesman for Maine’s attorney general says MacCalister will probably appear in court for an arraignment in October but an exact date has not been set. MacCalister has not entered a plea. He appeared in court after the arrest but didn’t say anything during the brief appearance.

Records state that MacCalister said he was “off my meds” at the time of the stabbing. Records indicate he later confessed.

His lawyer didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.
