Police: Man fatally shot at bus stop in Highland Park

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (AP) - Police say a man has been fatally shot at a bus stop in the Detroit enclave of Highland Park.

Detroit-area broadcasters report the man was shot around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday along Woodward Avenue and he collapsed nearby after trying to get away.

There were no immediate reports of arrests. No other injuries were reported at the bus stop. The area was closed to traffic while police investigated.
