CLAY CENTER, Kan. (AP) - Kansas-based Twin Valley plans to offer super-high speed Internet speed to homes and businesses in Clay Center.

The company said Thursday its “Twin Valley Pulse Internet” will be capable of providing Gigabit-speed to more than 2,000 customers in the northeast Kansas town. It said Gigabit service is currently available to about 40 communities across the U.S.

The service will allow Twin Valley residential subscribers to take advantage of such applications as 4k ultra-high definition television, virtual reality applications, smart devices, Internet video streaming and home automation.

New customers will be able to sign up for either bundled or stand-alone Internet speeds of 100 Mbps or 1 Gigabit.

Twin Valley is based in Miltonvale and provides services to more than 6,600 customers over a 2,400 square mile radius.
