Death of man found in Marshfield home called ‘suspicious’

MARSHFIELD, Mass. (AP) - Authorities are investigating what they are describing as a “suspicious death” on the South Shore.

The Plymouth district attorney’s office says the body of a man was discovered inside a Marshfield home at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday following a 911 call to police.

State police pronounced the man dead at the scene.

He was identified Thursday as 43-year-old Robert McKenna, a resident of the home.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause and manner of death.
